Well done you Ann. For about 6 months I've been trying to pluck up the courage to have a couple out. |

I won't say it was a walk in the park, in fact it was pretty traumatic needing extra jabs because it wouldn't numb but that was because I had had an infection in it. Had one out 6 months ago that was no problem. Anyway it has gone and hopefully it is goodby to toothache and sleepless nights. |

The dentist has never done anything to me that hurt worse than toothache, and he has tried! |

Needles don' bother me and most dentists seem to deaden the gum first these days. |

Glad to hear you won't be suffering any more Ann - having teeth out is not pleasant I know, but it sure relieves the pain. Hope it's a back one that doesn't mind the gap :-D |

Thanks Wendy and all, Mouth is still very stiff and sore this morning, quite a bit of trauma I would think but I did manage a good nights sleep. I go every 6 months to the dentist but in the past two years have had to have 3 large molars removed. Had my front top teeth removed through abcess jut after having daughter in 1961 so not got a lot of teeth now. Still costs me the same o have them cleaned though. I think I should get discount for fewer teeth!!! :-D Strange this time though, came away with a long list of things to do/not do after an extraction, not had that before, usually it is 'grin and bear it'. Yes, receptionist called me by my first name. they all know us there as we are both regulars. :-D |
