Hi Richard and welcome to the chat board.

Have you tried posting the information you have about your family on the "Find Ancestors" board?

There are lots of very helpful members who are more than willing to help you out.

If you have not already done so..................don't be shy, give it a try....

Richard if you have found the right person, i.e. if you know date of birth and where born for example, you will see a reference number, when you go to the GRO site there will be a form to fill in, you will need that reference number and the quarter the birth etc was registered in.

The best thing you can do is go on the find ancestors board (see list on left) and ask for help giving somebody to find as an example. when you see what happens when they find one for you it will become clear I hope.

sorry to be a pain but when you find on geans reunited somebody you are looking for do you just go to gro and order or do they have a search site , because you may have somebody with the same name as what your looking for and details i see a few how can you be 100 percent ??
