My grandfather Joseph A Mawson came to live in NZ in 1950 and resided in Tauranga, (Bay of Plenty) My grand mother and Uncle came for a visit approx. 6 years later, but there stay was cut short as my uncle Bernard had been called up to do his military training.
Joseph died in June of 1968 at his daughter home, Jane, Ka Jenny Becker (nee Mawson)
My aunt came to live in NZ in the early 60's not long after her fist husband died, all I know about him is his name was John, they married in Italy during the war and came back to the UK.
I also know that my grandads sister Jessie went to live in Canada.
Joseph also had 2 brothers John and George, the youngest.
