And it is not just Tesco, theirs was the highest but I am sure it also mentioned Lidl, aldi, Iceland and said that the only store with no horsemeat trace at all was M&S. |

The amount of pig and horse meat was well above "trace" amounts caused by poor cleaning. In fact there are mountains of all kinds of illegal meat imported to the UK every year from all over the place, as far away as China and Egypt. As for "EU origin" it can mean anything. Large scale theft of deer, cattle and sheep for illegal slaughter is also a serious and growing UK problem which our ever shrinking police force has few resources to fight. |

"Dalepack", in Yorkshire was another supplier also" Liffy Meats" I wonder if it is anything to do with the "Profit Margins "and having to meet the low prices supermarkets demand from their suppliers?.Tesco did another "Booby" as well.They were having a "Shop Locally" in their store in Talbot Green South Wales,Using the "Scottish Flag" instead of the Welsh Dragon. :-D :-D :-D seems somebody does,nt know the Emblem of their own Country. :-D |

I had horse meat in Spain 28yrs ago and I rather enjoyed it....I don't do burgers etc and make most of my own food as I like to know what is in it... |
