Definitely our cold weather! We can wrap up warm and hibernate, snuggle up at home, enjoying warming food and drinks.
Really hot weather is unbearable, you can't get away from it unless you have really effective air conditioning.

I lived for several years where temperatures reached 40+ in the summer and in the humidity everyone seemed to flag.

I'd choose snow over that kind of heat. It's so much easier to keep warm.

45C is horrible.

I live some distance north of Sydney (just south of the border of NSW & Qld). We don't get the high temperatures, it rarely gets above 30C here, but the humidity in January can be very high. Horses sweat, men perspire, ladies glow...... we ooze!

Today was 30C, blue skies, a slight breeze, low humidity........... :-D

My aunt came to Oz (from Scotland) for a holiday a few years ago. A few hot days and she was visibly wilting. She said she was going to be good for the rest of her life.....why?.... because if I can't stand the heat in Australia I won't like hell :-D

At least if it is cold you can put extra clothes on and maybe turn the heating up. Unless you have air conditioning there is not much you can do about excess heat. I like the warm weather but anything much above 30 can be too exhausting.

I'd rather suffer the cold as well . I might be sitting here , next to the fire with a hat on , a body warmer and a blanket and a cat ......lol
But I'd rather that than intollerable heat .

I hope the temps soon go down for our Aussie friends .

I'd definitely rather have cold weather, Ann. I couldn't function in that temperature - I find 30 degs bad enough :-0

The cold weather here or the hottest day on record in Sydney where temperatures have reached over 45 degrees.
