There's so much money in sport these days it's not surprising there are so many cheats in all sports. |

I saw just the clip where he was confessing and how he wanted to get back into competitive cycling again. Nope. He's had his chance, he has taken any glory away from honest people and now like all bullies, he wants to be forgiven and put the past behind. |

The Man is simply a liar & cheat (His own words not mine). It was not a one off slip up, he continuously took illegal substances and continued to lie about it in order to enhance his perfomance. He became very famous and very, very wealthy by cheating. So he is saying sorry, is he really, or just sorry he got caught out?. Now he say he feels he is serving a life sentence and hopes to be given another chance. In no other way of life or profession except sport can this be done. |

I think he's owned up because he wants to make a comeback. I'd say his lawyers have told him that this is what he needs to do for whatever reason. |

Such a shame for all the other cyclists who should have won. |

I've seen and heard bits of the interview, I find him repulsive, he's arrogant and a bully, he seems to think it was o.k for him to do what he did, because "everyone else was doing it". |

Yes but he still lied about it Andy - even when he was caught out. And he called other people liars and dragged down their careers. I have to wonder why he has decided to confess now. |

I'm not sure Susanwiv. I don't like him - he still came across as somewhat arrogant although I thought he was telling the truth. |

Only thing he is sorry about is that he got caught. |
