Brothers in War
by Michael Walsh
A devastating and deeply moving account of the eight Beechey brothers’ ultimate sacrifice on the battlefields of France, Flanders and East Africa: a family sacrifice almost without parallel only now pieced together from letters and scraps of paper scribbled on in the trenches and passed down.

PricklyHolly Report 19 Jan 2013 21:46

Prickles......It is a book....about parents who lose five of their sons in WW1. The biggest loss to one family recorded I think. There are lots of pics and letters included, I could not put it very sad :-(

PricklyHolly Report 19 Jan 2013 22:04

A similar situation in this film then Ann.........if i remember correctly.
