Does anyone know Clacton well?

After some detective work I have found that my late father spent some time (c1935-1937) at the Middlesex Hospital Convalesence Home, Holland Road, Clacton-on-Sea.

I've found a few photos he took during his stay, it's a beautiful building.
Just wondering if it is still there (I can't tell from Google maps) .

I'd be very grateful for any help, thanks .

See if you can take a 'perambulation' as described in this book

http://goo.gl/yuF32

*Along Holland Road, on the N side, Middlesex Court (flats) built as the Middlesex Hospital Convalescent Home by Young & Hall 1895-6: large, brick some half-timbering and two-storey verandas.*

If you look at the street view of Google Earth you can see it at about 51.7965N 1.1659E. near Lyon Close

Many many thanks to you folks :-)

Maggie and KenSE - I will go back to Google and take another look now.
DetEcTive - thanks. I have found that 'perambulation' piece. An interesting read.

EDIT: I'm SO very pleased to see that beautiful building has not been demolished. Turned into flats maybe, but at least someone had the sense to preserve the original (or retain the original look). Good on them.
