The administrators of HMV have said that the music and DVD retailer will start accepting gift vouchers in stores from Tuesday.

Deloitte had previously said that gift cards could not be redeemed in stores, leading to anger among many customers.

Deloitte said it was able to honour the vouchers after assessing HMV's financial position.

Good idea to post this AnninGlos for those that haven't yet seen it.

Sent article to my g.daughter on F/B as I know she had a substantial sum in vouchers to use.

Son will be pleased as he has a £20 voucher. Hope he finds something as he went in after Christmas and complained stock was low.

Have a look on the above site, other stores will exchange vouchers for their own gift cards if purchased through the stores.
