Good question, AnnC. Mexico sounds fantastic. My best has to be honeymoon in Cyprus. Paphos.

But also loved Traben Trarbach in Mosel Valley in Germany. Not far from Trier, which is most fantastic Roman town. Lots of singing, lots of sun, lots of cycling along the river. Lots of walking. Just a blissful place. And dead close to Frankfurt Hahn where budget airlines go. :-D :-D

For me it was Mexico - the Eldorado Seaside Suites on the Mayan Peninsula - fantastic

The whole complex, which is large, is very secure, about seven restaurants, 24 hour room service, lots of swimming pools, some of which are connected by a man made river running through the grounds - some of the apartments are swim up apartments and you can sit on your sunbed in the water

The beach is fantastic, the sea is so warm like a bath with fish which swim around you when you're in the sea

Beds on the beach, four posters on ropes, with staff coming around with drinks

All drinks under the sun inclusive [excepting wines] The food is fantastic

Apartments are first class - two massive beds, your own jaccuzzi, balcony, plasma TV, wet room, dining table and chairs so if you order over the phone for a meal a guy will arrive and lay it allout on the table for you

A spa for manicures, massages - a nudist beach area if that's your bag

beautiful grounds, not a scrap of rubbish, fantastic flowers

cheap taxis to the nearest town - Playa del Carmen - a fantastic place full of silver shops and department stores and a beach to die for

google it and you will see exactly what I mean
