Neighbour has his boat in the driveway....... if he starts collecting animals I'll be worried :-) PS ~ I just looked at the webcam in Sydney, it's raining there too!

Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 2,802 Send Message	It's still raining! It's now 10.45pm, our power went off at 4pm, came back on about 10 minutes ago. The sky was dark grey, we watched the trees waving around in the wind for a while, waiting for branches to crack! So far, nothing has cracked. I sat in the dark reading my Kindle, using the light. MOTH slobbed in his bean bag and had a snooze. Dinner was leftover lamb sandwiches. We gave up at 8.00pm and went to bed, listening to the rain battering the windows & the wind howling! Now I'm wide awake!! I'm looking forward to a better, brighter morning :-)

	Its dark (night) at the moment the time on the clock showing 11:52 pm. magic!!! Seems weird operating a live cam at Sydney Harbour from here in Nottingham. :-D

Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 2,802 Send Message	The power went off again this morning :-) Only for about 15 minutes. Thank goodness Oswald is running out of steam (and rain & wind!). It's drizzling slightly, but still very windy; I can see the ferns in my front garden getting blown around. I feel sorry for the poor souls in Queensland, they got battered. We only got wet & lost the top of a banana tree. I've got a house full of flashing clocks, I'm not going to fix them (again!) until later.

Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 2,802 Send Message	Oswald is moving south. If you have anything outside, bring it in or tie it down! Another banana tree lost its top, landed on the pawpaw. Big Eucalyptus downhill from us has lost a couple of branches. We can't see our back deck, because it's covered with leaves. The ocean is the same colour as the sky ~ darkish grey. I haven't seen our resident possums, hope they're alright (and I hope they're not inside our roof!). IT's stopped raining here, but still very windy. I had a look at the webcam from Sydney........ all I saw was a blob (might have been the bridge) & raindrops on the lens :-( The Bondi Beach one is silly ~ same pics as yesterday........ unless the same person left a bike at the fence and the same two guys with surfboards are there :-D Keep safe! <3
