My wife was briefly in the Nursing Home prior to adoption in 1945. Does anyone have any details about this place?

Barry - any idea about the name or location within Harrogate of the Nursing Home? I live in the town and could check the library to see if they have a local directory for the period in question. Michael

Google Dr Barnado's HomeS in Harrogate.

I think that is where a friends children were taken after their Mum died in the 60's

Good Luck.
