here in Spain, prescription charges have recently been introduced. For pensioners, what you pay depends on your income, but there´s a maximum charge of €8 per prescription. Previously they were free for pensioners. |

All my 8/9 regular meds are free, I buy my aspirin as I feel it would be a cheek to put that through via a prescription which would cost the NHS 10 times the counter price. |

Roy - why do you not have a prepayment cert? 3 month charges for any amount prescriptions is £29.10 and 1 year is £104. Save you one heck of a lot. |

I still have to pay for my repeat prescription so always buy the Asprin separate 100 tabs for abt £1.25 is better than the £7.65 per item as i have 7 items every month |

I regularly notice when I pick up my repeat prescription from the chemist that some medications have a strip cut. For example one tablet comes in strips of 25 and my prescription is for 60 tablets, I get 2 strips of 25 and part of a strip for the odd 10. |
