I live in Greenwich (hilly Plumstead) and we get gritted very regularly, they were around last week when the bad weather was forecast but did not arrive.

So I now assume they will be around sometime tonight. They tend to turn up around 10pm.

For all our council's faults they are very good with the gritting of the roads, shame though that they make little effort to clear the pavements.

Snow - yuk :-(

The gritter lorry has just gone down my road, looks as though we maybe in for some more of the white stuff. Has been very cold and windy today.
