I'd have thought that whoever reported your posts on the other thread would have also reported off topic posts on this thread as well, Ann.

Please, don't be tempted to lower yourself to their level it may rebound on you.

hmmmm - five of them mine, a fair number for you and Hayley and one for Muffy - now does that mean that I should go through this thread and report all the Tesco postings?

sorry you're in pain Sue, hope you managed to get some shuteye in the end

should I get reprimanded by GR or you, Hayley or Muffy get reprimanded then I shall most certainly report all the Tesco postings - childish I know, but we all know who was the instigator of all this dissent on the boards

At 3 a.m. yes I am in pain, i saw the christian thread is full of RRd posts lololol how tolerant of them.

Oh well, that moves the goal posts somewhat.

so we all know what's what - terryj appears to be a homophobic going by the three euphamisms he has used for gay men - all reported of course - if anyone wants to know the terms he used, send me a message

Oh, and personally, if I ever got hitched again - I would like a Civil Partnership - not a marriage!!!!!
Surely what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

Going back to Lynda's point about B & B owners.
My sister & I go camping together quite a lot. As we are of a 'certain age' assumptions are made.

We stayed in a lovely hotel in Spain on Wednesday night. Sister had booked a twin room - we walked in - it was a double :-0
She went down and pointed out we'd asked for a twin.
The bed (consisting of 2 mattresses) was duly pulled apart, (by about 3 inches) single sheets put on and the double duvet put on top :-|

Lovely receptionist said they had assumed we were a 'couple' - very forward thinking for a hotel in a Catholic country - they also had ashtrays all over the (many - we had 3) patio's!!
:-D

Sister pointed out we were sisters - and I snored :-P

Hayley~~

Lol I'm sure terryj is aware that ' Mrs Brown' is Brendan O' Carroll, (and as Hayley says..same as Muffy says) ,;-)

It was still a good opinion . :-D

Wend

Wend Report 9 Feb 2013 23:18

Still a good opinion though Hayley, in my opinion ;-)

*** Nods head wisely at Sue ** :-D

And I think someone needs to point out to terryj that Mrs Brown is really a man Called Brendan O'Carroll who writes the Mrs Brown shows and the 2 priests are actors so the reason they were put on the spot was because thats how it was written in the script and purely Brendan O'Carroll opinion :-D :-D

Oh well it has served to prove that Christianity doesn't always equate to humanity! Nor it seems compliance with a couple of the ten commandments :-D

I was RR for a post that wasn't abusive but because it was a on the thread was post in good faith and my post had nothing to with the topic of the thread and then I was asked to remove my posts again for the same reason..........so to my reckoning Ann the subject of same sex marriage conducted in Churches isnt serious enough to stop people posting off topic and when people was asked to do so they stood accused of John bashing ....1 rule for one eh as they say ... :-D

Tecwyn, what an excellent and informative post and so eloquently put.

I wish all people were as open-minded as you. I despair of bigoted small mined people like certain ones on here. (will choke on my cocoa tonight !!!)

How does a B&B owner know that a couple who want a room aren't married, do they ask to see the wedding certificate?
Also, a same sex couple who share, do they say "will you be having sex in our bed tonight?

All very odd, I go away with a girl friend a couple of times a year, never been refused a room as yet, or asked if we will be getting up to anything, i've also been to hotels on countless occasions with my husband, never been asked for a wedding certificate either.

It's all a load of newspaper codswallop :-)
