I posted that Microsoft Essentials is more comprehensive and more reliable - as well as free. Several of the major commercial AV have managed to pull this stunt.

I find it particularly amusing because Eugene Kaspersky has been a bit of a rent-a-quote in recent times.
Bet he is keeping his head down a little now
