Nearly here. Well into the 12 days of running. In Jerez, Massa is looking great. Early gossip is that 4 teams will run really well this year and champion will come from one of those 8 drivers, namely:

Red Bull - Vettel, Webber
McLaren - Perez, Button
Lotus - Raikkonen, Grosjean
Ferrari - Alonso, Massa

Could be a "bedding in" season for Lewis and his new team.

Bahrain on 21 April would be my favourite to attend. Flights are reasonably cheap and luxurious. Hotels are very luxurious and quite cheap. And the sunshine will be blistering :-D

I am not telling him anything John. if he attempts to watch it in this house I shall be sending him down to you.

1. Vettel 2. Webber 3. Alonso Hope we see new ones like Grosjean and di Resta doing something this year. And new stars further down the field :-)

I for one am looking forward to the new season but unfortunately cannot always watch the races live.
Incidentally, assuming you are a bit of a fan, have you ever been to one?

Strictly sofa spectator Errol, too pricey and noisy for me although I used to enjoy bike meetings in the UK - there's something about a whiff of two stroke . :-D

Errol. Not sure who you are asking about going to races. I have been to Silverstone about four times, but nowhere else to see F1. Some people follow the circus round the world - even young people. A sort of modern "Grand Tour", I suppose.

I would love to go to Monaco and Bahrein in particular. Atmosphere at Silverstone is absolutely electric - and the noise!!!!!!

Bernie Ecclestone has added that to the 2013 season as an afterthought. It is Dec 1st and is the final decider after Brazil. All the leading ten drivers will be given a 250cc motorbike to decide final placings. :-S :-S
