Re the door, apparently they were waiting for the Council /Housing Authority to repair the door. Meybe a little DIY would have stopped it entering the house instead of waiting. |

I lived way out in the country for the first twenty years of my life and spent hours over the fields and in the woods - never saw a single fox |

When I lived near heathrow I always had them in my garden both at night and in the early morning, since I moved up here I have not seen one around here but my daughter lives on a small holding and I have seen one up there during the day. |

We have foxes in the garden and at night they come right up to the back door, a couple of weeks ago I was amazed that one of them walked out of the side gate up the path, and across the road to the house opposite, the time was 2.30p.m. I've had a duck and a rabbit ripped apart by a fox, he never ate them, just left them strewn across the garden. Where I live there are too many foxes, and I'm very careful about children in the garden after dark. I know some fox hunters and I'm not totally against fox hunting. |

You don't have to live in the countryside to see foxes. |

They do say it is a rare occurrence for a fox to attack a human, so lets not be too hasty. |

Don't forget that last year twins were attacked by a fox, that was in London. |

Urban foxes are attracted by the black bin bags still used by come councils, food chucked away in vicinity of takeaways. We are a dirty nation re litter. |

Impossible to cull on a large scale in the urban areas. As Chris Packham said on TV this morning, if you put down poison, then cats and dogs will die, you can't go round the streets with guns, it would inevitably result in tragic accidents. The only way to get rid of foxes (and rats too) is for the human beings in cities to stop throwing waste away irresponsibly. |

Different reports re this baby - first it is dragged out of cot in bedroom then today it is in livingroom. Why could the parents not put a bolt on the door or barricade it shut - especially in this weather. Cannot blame everyone else for this tragedy. |

Lion/tiger poo? I am serious. Anywhere near a zoo or there was a time garden centres actually sold it. |

You can get the lion poo via a well known mail order firm. |
