I seek any info. from anyone who was at the above convent c 1949-51 or who knows /knew anyone from there.There was also a home for unmarried mothers attached to it as I understand.There is very little on line about the school or home.I was sent there for some reason from Newcastle -a number of years ago I spoke to a nun who had been there & I was told 'dear, the nuns would have destroyed the records when they left in 1973 to go to Oxford' Why? Any help would be gratefully received. |
