My Grandfather Bernard and Uncle Philip Meninsky were War artists and correspondence ....that would be a fascinating subject.
Phillip did sketches of prisoners of war and hid them, l do believe they are in Australia now!!

Quite interesting, but may have been more so if the clip had mentioned the role of children and women in mining, with possible inclusion of the use of Pit Ponies.
