when I like the poster, and I like the topic....

1) I have such a dull life that I sometimes write a reply and think "how pathetic that sounds, why would anyone think that was an interesting reply?"

2) I am thinking about the post, and then go off on a 'misery me' tangent which I don't want to inflict on anyone...that happens sometimmes when people post about where they've been , what they're doing ...more often who they have sharing what they're doing...ie a partner...or even ( probably especially, their dog lol.

3) I read the post/opinion and nod wisely and think 'that's what I think too...biut you just said it so well i can't better it'

4) it's late

5) I might start crying and never be able to stop.

6) I feel stupid ...alright that's not often because of course I am super intelligent , erudite and modest ;-)

Awww Rose, I feel the same as you on points 1 3 4 5 and 6, ......but I am neither super intelligent or erudite.

Soooo, dear Rose, when I put up my thread about going to Venice with my favourite rich and clever and handsome stud-muffin and his....er...poodle, it may come under 2) and I will be the cause of some distress and envious nail biting? Surely not! :-D <3

BC I am just very pleased for you, I am never envious in that sense, just 'wistful' lol. ( besides I'm not over fond of poodles ;-) )

My cooking has come on in leaps and bounds since we got a new kitchen, I made lasagne today and it was lovely :-D

The salad dressing was revolting, but hey ho.

I like to read yur comments though Rose they make threads more interesting - I don't have to alwes agree with someone to enjoy reading their posts and I can honestly say yur one of the few ppl I have met whose posts reflect the real person.

I have been told quite a few times that I'm pretty perceptive* about people, but I just can't put it into writing like Rose can.

*'Real life' people, not on here much lol! Too tricky for me!

RR - I know we have been at loggerheads before but like other posters I read most of your posts and find that they represent the feelings of a lot of people on this site because they make a lot of sense. I am not that kind of person for handing out bouquets or pats on the back willynilly to anyone, but in your case credit where credit is due.
