Going directly from IE7 to IE9 can create all kinds of hassles due to wrong / missing file associations esp when getting no-longer-mainstream stuff like Flash to work. That is why I suggested IE8 as a first step in order to get to requirement (1) a stable and reasonably up to date browser. IE8 is a significant improvement on IE7. |

As you are using Windows 7 I would recommend using Internet Explorer 9. |

hi sorry i am a bit of a numty when it comes to computers i am using windows 7 also internet explorer. i have tried reinstalling flash player with no success. i closed my computer the restarted it it find it would not start so the repair program kicked in does this make sense. |

Have you tried closing your browser and restarting it? Sometimes it even takes a restart of the computer |
