What Will The UK Lose Next

Two weeks ago the UK lost its Triple AAA Credit Rating and this week it has slipped down the European Health Services Index from 15th place to 17th place :-(

1 Austria; 2 Netherlands; 3 France; 4 Switzerland; 5 Germany; 6 Sweden; 7 Norway; 8 Finland; 9 Denmark; 10 Belgium; 11 Luxembourg; 12 Estonia; 13 Cyprus; 14 Spain; 15 Czech Republic; 16 Ireland; 17 UK; 18 Italy; 19 Portugal; 20 Slovenia; 21 Greece; 22 Malta; 23 Slovakia; 24 Hungary; 25 Romania; 26 Lithuania; 27 Poland; 28 Bulgaria; 29 Latvia.

What will be next I wonder :-(

Researching:
I have given up trying to find any information on (1) Mother of George Wotherspoon - he was born 1759 in Old Monklands. (2) When James Patrick Clusker born 1890 married Mary Ellen Bryant in USA. (3) Information on Thomas Wotherspoon born 1901 in Fife, lived in the Huddersfield area in 1952. Photo is of me in the cloisters of Iona Abbey.

Having lived and worked in several of the countries on your list and thus having practical experience I suggest you pay scant attention to such league tables. It is worth saying though that it is far easier to deliver health care to a small homogenous population than a large very diverse one. Only the UK succeeds in that.

The famous AAA etc credit ratings are based on the financial trader's concept of volatility which is well beyond the ken of most people on these boards. In real life they matter not a jot.
