For anyone receiving phone calls from the above, its a scam.

My daughter just phoned me enquiring about the said firm something to do with "Carbon Credit Trading". they have called her several times, inferring her partner is under some kind of agreed contract.

I have told her that, that is rubbish, a contract cant be legally binding if done over the phone. Contracts have to be personally signed for them to be legal.

I just checked them out and I would say, definitely a scam.

To many of these phone scams about, I keep a whistle beside my phone and it makes them hang up fast, very fast :-D :-D :-D

Researching:
I have given up trying to find any information on (1) Mother of George Wotherspoon - he was born 1759 in Old Monklands. (2) When James Patrick Clusker born 1890 married Mary Ellen Bryant in USA. (3) Information on Thomas Wotherspoon born 1901 in Fife, lived in the Huddersfield area in 1952. Photo is of me in the cloisters of Iona Abbey.

01274 572953 are doing the rounds again,uclaimed pensions,press 5 or 9,,,,,its an automated scam,,,,,

GTP are based in Manchester listed with a phone number,email and fax,,,,,,,,!

So are the supposed Accident Investigation Bureau calls about some alleged vehicle accident they are investigating - funny how they all seem to have foreign accents ;-)

We keep the answer phone on and only pick up if we know the caller. surprising how many don't leave a message.

you need to dig a little bit deeper than just their facade ID .

Green Trade Partners Ltd, was registered 19/04/12. They have no accounts on file.
The company number on the web site relates to Greentrade Investment Partners Ltd. Also a new company (01/03/12) with no accounts.
Oh yes they trade from the same building.
3 PICADILLY PLACE
MANCHESTER
GREATER MANCHESTER
M1 3BN
This is serviced offices.
A feature of these companies is quick set up and quick closure and movement to another building.
This is a company designed to exploit young people in the call center driven by commissions and to exploit people who fall for the lines about carbon trading.

Ann, I had 2 messages on my phone once, when I got home from work
I was disgusted when I listened to them.
Both were the same (foreign) man calling my name. The second one actually said 'Mrs X...... pick the phone up immediately - you must - quickly'.
Unfortunately for them, I was at work and, even if I'm home, if I don't pick the phone up - I can't hear the messages being left.
