Well you have all done better than I have. I have only two geraniums that have survived in my greenhouse. :-( :-( :-( :-( |

Joy, I did not give in to the temptation, they are still in the conservatory, and the upstairs window sills. |

I showed this to my husband, ho thinks that I am the only person in The World who brings their Geraniums in to overwinter in the Conservatory. I can never bear to throw them away at the end of the Summer, I have had some for years. |

Hi Merlin, Yes I have thought of bubble-wrap, bit once the season starts, I seem to be so busy, it turns out to be one of those jobs that 'I must do that for this winter', each year. But I will make an effort this time, and get a paraffin heater. I do not want the Geraniums in the conservatory again, because they make it look so untidy, but at the same time, I do not want to discard them at the end of the summer. |

Julia,Have you thought about putting Bubble Wrap over the windowsof the green house?I have on mine and it helps to keep it frost free. However it might help if you get yourself a small Parrafin heater and keep in there, they don,t cost a lot and last a long time between filling.at the moment thopugh I would keep them inside.Mine are doing quite well in there also the Sweetpeas are coming along nicely. :-D |

I do not have heat in the greenhouse, and it is a fair step from the house. |

I am ignoring the mess in the conservatory Julia and hoping that after Easter it will warm up a bit. We do have plants in the greenhouse but theya re all in heaters/propogators. |

Having quite successfully over-wintered my Geraniums in the conservatory with very little heat, but getting very fed up of seeing them taking up the space, I am greatly tempted to move them into the greenhouse, on their transition to outside when the frosts have gone, |
