really to blame? On this Morning today there was a discussion whereby one lady said that Anthea ......was right - it was her fault her husband went astray. Other lady arguing - it was not.

Viewers said not her fault - 88%, yes - 12%. Again, it is not always the male who commits this but females are guilty as well as my brother found out. His problem was he put wife on a pedestal

I sometimes think that maybe there are faults on both sides. One party is willing to let the faults ride, or doesn't realise there is a problem and the other thinks the grass is greener.

"For richer or poorer, for better or for worse ..."
There is no obligation to get married.
There is an obligation to respect the vows.

If somebody wants to bail out of a relationship then they should just get on with it. Anything else is deceitful and makes a lot of hurt.

As it is today the innocent party tends to be the one who gets burned which surely cannot be right.

Why should she be surprised?

He was married to somebody else when they first started sleeping together and he eventually left his wife for her. If he's done it once he's likely to do it again only this time she's the weeping wife.

No one to blame but the man who couldn't keep his trousers on but Anthea has learned a bit about karma.

They deserve each other.

Guinevere - I agree - she was 'the other woman' and if I recall correctly there were young children involved.

However OH's reasons for staying faithful are as follows -

a) Frequently had to work 7 days/week - no free time and too
tired

b) Bad liar and bad memory - need good ones in order to
cheat

c) Always been wary of the butcher's knife with the 16" blade
I have!!!!!

d) Oh and he loves me <3

Bigamy means having one wife too many. Monogyny is sometimes much the same.
