	To obtain a bank loan in the UK, you have to first prove you don't desperately need it. That's the current logic of our financial status. It isn’t easy to make sense of nonsense.

	The way it was proposed to tear up the deposit protection scheme for Cypriot bank customers does not show the EU in a good light. This was more to do with saving the euro and preventing a Cypriot exit than being fair to citizens. Could it happen here?
