Thanks to the internet I now know what is a spurtle & a sous vide - never heard of them before. Somebody mentioned a cake tested - I bought one recently It i the only thig long enough and thin enough to test a cake without letting in to much air |

I've just brought a Robostir, a battery operated gadget that you stand in a saucepan, and it stirs, good for sauces and suchlike, saves you standing there doing it, rubbish for stirring porridge, which I bought it for. really good conversation piece though :-D |
