We always leave our lights on when we're away Rose, or should I say, we have them on timers. All the neighbours think we're having a party they haven't been invited to (and hopefully any potential burglars!) :-D

I think I'd have been grumpy, if their most 'dire' news was a light left on!!

I ALWAYS leave a light on when I'm away - it may be on a timer, but it's on. Sometimes leave the radio on as well - and that's constant.
If anyone mentions my contribution to global warning because of this 'wanton' act - they'd better duck! :-|

I didn't exactly 'snap' at someone this morning , but I'm afraid the 'dire news' that their neighbour was away but had 'left their light on' got a slightly less than sympathetic response :-D
