ladies did any of you have a tressie doll ,i did in the early 1960s i thought it was wonderful,it had a circle on the top of her head and her hair came out for a long ponytail,

the children today would not even look at something so basic,no sound's or flashing light's but i loved her.

and there was me wondering what Martyn was doing wearing a liberty bodice :-D

I remember them well, fleecy lined, tapes running down them and rubber buttons

navy knickers with a pocket for your hankie

my younger sister had leather gaiters which buttoned up the sides

what do you remember ,

liberty bodice,what about them rubber button's.

a scarf crossed over the chest and pinned at the back,

a favourite piece of slate to play hopscotch on the paving slab's,

making your own go cart,well with my brother's.

EDIT-what ever happened to those triangled shaped bag's that you could get 2oz of sweet's in at the old sweet shop.
