That´s interesting because a fellow researcher into my Sewell family has tried to attribute the name Williams Wynne to the wife of one of my ancestors.
I can´t see any justification for making the link,especially as she was supposed to have been the daughter of landed gentry & he was a coal merchant.

I would really like to find out who my mum was given away to when she was a baby.
Have got the birth details from a workhouse and she kept her unmarried mothers surname.

Will have to wait until the 1921 cesus
