Morning Jude

He's still woofing. I wasn't clear about the jab he gets every day. It's not an injection, but a "drip" sort of thing........ he's in the surgery for about half an hour.

I sent out emails to his golf mates, said he would welcome short phone calls, but NO visitors. We knew who would turn up at the door, and he did. One of "those" people who likes to know what's going on and embroiders the facts when passing on news.

Hello Scozz...here's hoping that his woofing gets less and less and you wake up one morning and all order will be restored in your home;

Take care. BC XX

Morning Scozz...aww bless him, so he only has your company?? ;-)

The drips are antibiotics then, l spose that way it gets into the system quicker?
Lets hope he feels better real soon:))

Take care

They must have heard me thinking lol

Phone call this afternoon, followed by visit by the carpenter. He will be replacing the woodwork around the cupboards, and replacing the vanity....... then we wait for the plumber.

I'm not holding my breath. Carpenter is busy with other jobs, and MIGHT be able to start here in two weeks.

:-P

OH still woofing, his ribs are sore from all the coughing, poor man. <3

Jude, I believe the drips are super-antibiotics & something else, plus he takes antibiotic tablets 3 times a day (the size of horse pills!).... plus a bottle of awful tasting stuff that's supposed to help clear his lungs.

He's a lot better.

Not coughing so much, but we're still sleeping in separate rooms, because he tosses & turns all night :-(

He went to the doctor yesterday, who said his lungs sound clear. He's got another week of antibiotics to take, then another xray

He's playing golf this afternoon, so he's definitely on the mend <3

Good news, Scozz, hope the work gets done soon on your house so you can start to feel on top of things again.

Try to take time for yourself now hubby is a bit better, don't want you going down with anything, do we?

Liz ~

This typical for us! OH's first day of golf for over two weeks and the weather changed.

The weather lately has been nice, sunny but cool (it's winter here), but today wasn't so nice.

It started out overcast, and half an hour after he left home the drizzle started and it's still drizzling.

He went out sort of rugged up...... two Tshirts, a fleecy long sleeve top and a waterproof jacket......... and shorts! :-D This is the man who wears shorts & a Tshirt all year round.

It's nearly two months since the flood, I'm getting used to living in the tip. :-)

Ah well, it's an excuse not to do housework.

:-D
