I enjoyed the documentary although, imho, I don't think there was anything new to learn about Ann Boleyn, I liked the way the historians and writers gave their different views about the events leading to her execution.
One thing is sure of Henry VIII certainly got his own way every time didn't he?

There is very little written 'evidence' and various authors and historians have set out different theories as to 'the truth'. I find it a fascinating point in history but, ultimately, we will never really know for sure the full story.

I have always had an interest in the Tudor family tree and my mum was in the middle of writing about Jasper Tudor but sadly passed away before finishing it , due to school I was more focused on the wives and their lives and from my view I have thought of Ann as unlucky girl as in she wanted to get to the top and wasn't willing just to be an affair but the issue of not having a son and the king getting older his eye started to wander and with young Jane on the scene I think that dealt her fate , I believe to get out of the marriage with Catherine he blamed along the line Catherine was his bro wife and god didn't see the marriage to Henry as right but with Ann he needed more so I too think she was framed as I think the people looking into matter at that time wanted to keep their heads lol

what i would like to know is how do they get their fact's,was it written down or was it passed through the generation's.
is it all guess work?
we would not know & we believe what we are told about past monarch's.
did they keep detailed record's in the 1500s.

i think she was framed as henry had his eye on jane Seymour, and more importantly he was desperate for a son,(at all cost's).

just my view's.
