just got home from Porthcawl, The Grand Pavilion - seeing Joe Longthorne - thoroughly good show, terrific pianist he has too!!

he's just brought out a book on his ife, though apparently he is unable to read or write - he is of gypsy stock and is in recovery from lymphoma for which he has raised thousands through charity events

I thought at the beginning of his show he was pretty rough in the voice department but as the show went on he became his old self doing excellent send ups of Manilow, Bassey and Tom Jones

Theres a niggling at the back of my mind that he performed at one time with another guy who died young .

Any ideas cos its driving me to distraction not being able to remember :-( :-( :-(
