I don't believe it; but then I found it difficult to believe about John Major and Edwina Currie.

In 2006, he took part in a charity football match between England and Germany, consisting of celebrities and former players. He came on as a substitute for England in the 85th minute and infamously rugby-tackled former German international Maurizio Gaudino, in an attempt to win the ball.

This was a leading politician not in cabinet. Gaudino was never the same again, never again appeared in public and put on a lot of weight. Could this have been the suppressed scandal :-S

"This revelation is dynamite,” a senior source told The Mail on Sunday. “None of us could believe it when we first heard it. Then we just thought, ‘What a complete mess.’”

The source added that, apart from the huge political implications, the revelation had caused “great personal distress to innocent parties.”

The prime minister and his aides were said to be discussing the implications should their identities become public. Cameron was said to have been “stunned” by the news and aware of the political fallout the revelations could pose."

We are being led to believe this morning that an ex-editor of NOW fame may be one of people involved. Are we seriously expected to believe her shenanigans would raise a flicker of an eyebrow? :-) Scapegoats and diversionary tactics, plus a secret injunction seem to be in place. And we are expected to vote for Cameron in 2015 because he doesn't spin and lie like Labour :-(
