Wow! Never heard of that didn't realise the marathon was for men only back then.. Good for her! Just shows what one person can do! :-D

I didn't either Nolls. A brave thing for a woman to do back then.

I was shocked at the expression on the official's face....... "I'll sort this ***** out" was obvious!

As the article says, she's still running in marathons, and she's 66!
