In trying to trace my nan's parents. My nan's name is Audrey may Railton. She was born in December 1921 in Milton Regis, kent. Her maiden name was tummon. Her mothers maiden name is Mann. I'm not sure about my nan's fathers first name.

It looks like Harold and Esther separated before he died as there is a daughter born in 1928 registered in the name of both Tummon and Bassant

So bassant is the second married name of esther

Yes Esther and Harold Married in 1908...They separated at some point and Harold moved back to Sheffield and died in 1929

Esther then married Cyril Bassant in 1929
