Dear All

Hello

I heard these songs blasted out off recently:

"Little does she know", the Kursual Flyers.
The song was used for the Venos cough medicine advert.

"Torn between two lovers", Mary McGregor.

"I have never been to me, sung by Charlene and a number one hit in 1982.

Good music, lyrics you could learn and sing along to.

Good memories.

Take gentle care all <3
Best wishes
ELizabeth, EOS

I sure do Lesley :-D :-D

My daughter and family are off to the Radio 2 Hyde Park concert this year, I can never go because I go on holiday that week every year, may ask them to change the date just for me next year :-D

Sharron rumour was Paul and Barry Ryan's father was frank Sinatra, wonder if that was true?

Maggie always thought Peter Starstedt's songs were weird :-S

I waited 37 years to see Kris Kristofferson, God.

How about Barry McGuire, Long John Baldry, Paul and Barry Ryan, sons of Marion Ryan.

Pinkerton's Assorted Colours?

This has reminded me - my elder sister had a second hand single of 'Hey Paula' by Paul & Paula.

It had a small scratch so would stick on 'Hey Paul, Paul,Paul, Paul' until the Dansette was 'nudged'

Having just listened to it - the 'stick; made it more interesting :-|

All this reminiscing, love it:-D

I've seen Ike & Tina Turner and The Small Faces, hubby has seen loads, he used to frequent The Marquee club, he was friends with some of the groups. I didn't put Rod Stewart on the list, but really like him, then and now, saw him a couple of years back at Hyde Park with Stevie Nicks and Ronnie Wood, they were terrific, Rod really appreciates his audience, I absolutely loved it.

I also saw Take That with my Daughter and Grandson, he goes to lots of concerts with his Mum, he's a drummer, and he's gonna be big one day, watch this space :-D
