Clarinet for me. Sorry Rose and all - Danny Boy and Take me home again Katheen send me either out of a room or the mute button.

There are beautiful words to Londonderry Air with not a hint of 'Danny' and never seem to hear them now. Think it started off 'Oh Derry Vale'.

Now the soprano sang 'you'll never walk alone' beautifully.

Strings are so moving but then so can the piano. My daughter plays the piano, ukele, banjo and guitar - all self taught. She is 18 soon and has requested a mandolin. I can barely play recorder or glockenspeil so she doesn't get it from me, but she has had to listen to Vivaldi from a very young age x

I loved watching NK - as always he was entertaining and yet his talent shines through even when he is joking about. How wonderful to be able to give such pleasure to so many people with a musical instrument.

I love guitar music and clarinet as well.

I love classical guitar music it really speaks to me and touches something deep down inside.

Not a huge fan of last Night at the Proms. Usually listen to the first part then turn off for the audience participation "patriotism" stuff.

Love the sax, and the clarinet not keen on the violin, love the piano and also the drum. But like most instruments really.
That woman don't know her name, is a very good conductor.

Just listening to Nigel Kennedy playing....I think the violin is one of the most 'speaking' instruments, though clarinet, saxophone, guitar, piano can all touch the heart....

What instrument do you like listening to, what 'moves' you to tears or joy?
