I don't go by looks as far as politics go - I do find him rather amusing - he's been on Have I got News for You a few times and is quite self-deprecating - I am certainly considering voting for UKIP at the next election - I think he is an honest man

Just to be a bit more serious and not as shallow about politicians looks as I have been so far on this thread, I am more than a little concerned about the rise of Farage and his policies and his henchmen and henchwomen.

I suspect a lot of the electorate agree with some of his policies (some sound quite good to me) but will say they are going to vote Tory or LibDem or Labour in 2015 if asked. So his popular vote could be a lot more than we think and he could well hold the balance of power - therefore some Ministers could be UKIP next time. Now I can put up with Ed Davey, Vince Eager, Cleggy and Beaker - but not this UKIP lot.

I would like to see anybody who votes UKIP having to explain their reasons on camera outside the polling booth. Can we have a secret ballot for all except UKIP please (not being serious, but it would make interesting TV footage) :-) ;-)

Rose, I suspect you'd need a guide dog before coming close to finding Farrage even remotely attractive.

Ed looks like an owl more than a frog. Particularly when they freeze frame him with his eyes closed.

I heard that expression "Isn't that the fit one in the coalition?" on a programme when young girls were trying to identify photos of people in public eye. It was Nick Clegg!!! Made me chuckle :-) ;-)

Nigel Farage doesn't look like a frog to me.

A lama.

No not related John lol, I'm not usually bothered about how politicians look :-) I suppose in Farage's case it's just the combination of the look and the politics, neither are my cup of tea ;-)

PS ARE there any 'fit' ones in the coalition? I've not looked really

:-D

I get Niggle mixed up with Ed Miliband. Are they perhaps related?

Oh, how shallow we are. How difficult it is for people in public life who don't look like "the fit ones in the Coalition". ;-) :-)

but

I can't ever see Nigel Farage on tv without thinking he looks like a frog, either a happy frog or a glum frog, but a frog nevertheless. i am developing a morbid fascination with watching to see if his tongue flicks out and catches a fly :-S eeeww

( I don't like his politics either so I comfort myself with the thought that my shallowness re his looks is not going to subconsciously affect my voting :-) )
