I don't believe that Northern girls have smaller bags than the South.

How can they come to such bold statements?

I have always carried a big bag,and have things in there for emergencies.

Used to even have screwdriver and wire strippers.mind you,at the time I sold electrical equipment and had to put plugs on when delivering.

I have two very large bags (given me by understanding daughters) and I find it useful to transfer the contents from one to the other from time to time - wonderful what turns up (like a lost credit card in the pages of a diary - and just once a pound coin that had fallen through a hole in the lining) and it does give the opportunity for a minor purge

I rarely carry a handbag, I usually wear a 'bum' bag when out shopping locally just purse, keys and phone in it. Wear that and carry a bigger bag when in town but hardly anything in it. ( until I buy things) :-)

Now I know my handbag contains a load of junk but how about this,
I'm away for a few days and a friend has just asked has anyone
Got a magnifier, guess who had one,
Yup my handbags got everything in it
Except the kitchen sink, that's only cos I can't lift it with
The added weight of the taps. :-D :-D :-D
