I've just read and caught up on this lovely happy read except for poor Ann needing a new boiler
I only had a quick look at the men in shorts, with their bats and balls. No cold bits and pieces, it's indoors.

Went out to lunch with g,daus and my adorable lickle 3yr old munchkin then back home for some kiddie play and drawing funny faces. "stay awake Grandad !" he kept saying, " make me another aeroplane Grandad "" Hilarious.

Its quite cold here too , but one good thing is I don't have to do tea, cuppa and cake is all OH wants. :-D :-D

Off for me tea folks <3 :-D

Ann they don't make gentlemen like they used too no manners these day's :-)

Fly, yes had half a seat, largish lady next to me had the other half. That was the other amazing thing, as a lady got on (bearing in mind this was the first bus bus passes could be used on) a gentleman would stand and give her his seat, most of the men were eldely but even a young lad on his way to college.

Well, everyone was smiling on the bus this morning. Not a usual occurrence by any means. The bus was half an hour late, luckily I only waited 15 minutes but it is supposed to run every 10-15 minutes. We always have a double decker on our route and the morning buses are usually full by the time we get to town. There was a long queue at our stop, nobody moaning everybody patiently waiting. The bus arrives, it was a single decker. I think the proper bus must have broken down as the driver said he was called to drive that one as he was due to go off duty in Cheltenham. He was quite placid about it too. Anyway, the bus, after a few stops, had the normal number of a double decker, about 14 people standing. But what everyone was smiling at was, when he stopped to let people off he had to rely on the passengers at the front to tell him if anyone else was fighting their way through to get off. So he's shout ' any more on the way?', this would ripple down the bus until the answer 'no more now' would come back. Never seen so many people chatting and laughing with perfect strangers before on the bus. :-D :-D
