Help please! MP3 / ipod / Olly Murs

I am buying Christmas presents for my grand-daughter and she wants certain music CD's.

If I buy on Amazon it says:

"Complete your purchase of the CD album to save the MP3 version to Cloud Player."

I know an i-pod is different to an MP3 player - If she has an ipod can she use this same download to put it on there or does it only work to download to an MP3 player?

In other words are the two downloads different (If you know what I mean) ;-) :-D :-S

Also she wants 'the latest' Olly Murs CD - there are several to choose from - can anyone tell me the title of his 'latest' one please?

Your Grand-daughter can use the same download :-D

I am not very technical on these IT matters and I am not up to date on music either so this has helped me a lot. I can now buy them, knowing I have the correct things.
