Hi Michael. It is a shame about the weather. It would be nice for you to have just the two visitors at the weekend and hope it was not to tiring for you. Do you not have any say about continuing with the chemo? Maybe see what the scan says and take it from there. Pleased to hear your wife will be having her surgery soon, this time next month she will feel so much better. I hope the care package is soon sorted out for both you and your wife. I would help myself if I lived near you. Take care both of you. xx

Afternoon Michael,
Shame the weather was not good enough for you to get out at the weekend. It doesn't look as though it's going to be very warm all week but perhaps you will be able to get out later in the week for a change of scene and a bit of fresh air.

It's good that your wife has a date for her op. It must seem to you as though everything is happening at once but the sooner your wife has her surgery, the sooner she'll be on the road to recovery. You will both need looking after for a while so let's hope the care team can sort out a good care package for you. I'm sure your wonderful family will give you both plenty of support as well.

Hope you have a good week and thoughts for Mrs Michael as well.

thank you every body for your reply's well I did not get out the weekend duo to the weather still never mind might get out in the week, the tablets seem to be doing thr trick so far not quite as bad so some thing is going right.
it seems that I will not be having any more chemo the flipping consultant think the last time I was sick we tried to exsplain that we think it was the infusion I had was the cause of my sickness as three hours after I was sick and not the chemo to no avail.
so now it's all down to the palitive care team to deal with me my meds and to get me a scan to see what's happening. which I am happy a bout they are coming tomorrow to sort a few thing's out.
my wife has had a date to go into hospital to have her op on her bowel on the 29th of this month, she will be in for 5-7 days then rest up for about six weeks. so need to sort out care package for me so I am not on my own during the day and night. or to go into respite for a while.will talk this over tomorrow with the nurse. only had two visit's the weekend my son and niece on sunday which was just right . :-D :-D :-D <3

Hello Michael
I hope the diuretics have done their job and your feet are less swollen so that you can go out today as planned. I hope it's warmer for you and Mrs M than it is here in Yorkshire where it is cold and overcast with rain forecast! Have a lovely day. xx

Hello Michael, I haven't posted on here before but when I'm on Genes I always look in to see how you're getting on.

Sorry to see you've had trouble with fluid building up in your feet. Hopefully the tablets will start working soon and give you some relief.

Take care.

Sorry you are not having such a good day today. I hope you don't have to go to hospital but, if you do,I'm sure the staff will take good care of you and your lovely family will give you and your wife lots of support.

I'll echo what the others have said. You reap what you sow. You've obviously given your family lots of love and support and now it is their turn to give it back.

Keep your pecker up and take each day as it comes. Thinking of you as always.
