RoseoftheShires - Cancer in whatever form is a dreadful illness, it knows no bounds, it does not care who you are and it does not care how old you are, it just strikes and as I know from my own family tragedies, it leaves a trail of grief and sorrow.

My sincere condolences go out to you and your aunt's family & friends - at what must be a very difficult time <3

Researching:
I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

Rach,

It's sad to read this news - you have my condolences. Your poor Aunt had been through so much and is now at peace. You and your Mum have been there for her all the while and she didn't die on her own, you were with her to the end and no doubt, someone loved and lost already came to fetch her to a better place so from your caring arms to theirs.

Take comfort in happier memories and the fact that you and your Mum could have done no more for her, you gave your best and she knew she was loved and cared for.

Gentle hugs for you, love, may your Aunt rest in peace now.

Sadly, cancer is an epidemic nowadays, affecting someone we know - be it friend or family.
Do try to stay strong at this difficult time.
