. . . please post one useful tip at a time on here?

It won't fit in the front pocket of your jeans or trousers
(maybe men's pockets are bigger?)
so when you go to the smallest room
you have to remember to turn and face the toilet
so that it doesn't drop out of your back pocket and
straight down the pan.

Sorry, I can't help.
I've got an old Nokia.

Fits in my pocket
Has been dropped numerous times - still intact and no cracked screen
Pay as you go - at the most £10 a month.

I use a camera to take photos
I use my PC to look on the internet.
When I'm out - I look around and not down!!

I have had two phones fall down the loo

I now have a water proof one...but don't intend to test it out, it is quite large and wouldn't fit in any pockets easily... not that any of my trousers have them anyway

Ha! That's exactly what I had, Maggie (hi btw).
Thx Jax for yr comment, too.
I'm ok at home cos I leave it on the side
but at work I move round a lot. Hmmm. :-(

Unless you use it for work, lock it in a drawer. Simples!

My daughter said I need to get a rubber case for it in the market but until I have time to go there I've made a case out of corrugated card. It now stays snug in my back pocket :-)

Amazon do some good cases.....bought a couple from there in the past

That might be easier.
Thanks Jax. :-)
Mind you, prefer to shop local if possible.

I cannot really shop, so Amazon has come in handy....even bought my phone from them.

The last phone I had which was rubbish (smart phone still) think I only paid £3ish for a leatherette type case...unfortunately when it fell down the loo I couldn't get the case off easily to try and dry it out

I cannot have a semi permanent case on this one as it wouldn't then fit in the docking/charging station....may just stick it in an old sock should I venture out with it :-D

(Got a mock leather case now and it is much better).

The next thing I did was to change my phone so I can't
accidentally call people or take photos. It does seem
to work.

I went to Settings - Security - Screen Security -
Screen Lock - Pattern and drew a dot-to-dot on the
screen to set it up. Mind you, it has to be a pattern
you can remember and you can still accidentally
make emergency calls.

Feeling a lot more confident.
