GinN Report 7 Apr 2014 17:19

Belle - the weather was perfect for the trip, and we went early, so it was relatively quiet.
I always seen to get a cold towards the end of a holiday. Hope it goes before Friday - not a good look for Mother of the Bride! :-( :-(

Hya Ann :-D :-D <3 <3

The wine is purely for medicinal purposes, of course! Drinks are rediculously cheap down here, and we usually finish off our dinner with a double brandy, for around 1 pound 80p! Though, we have found Cape Town a little more3 expensive - had to pay 2 pounds last night :-0 :-D ;-)

Hello again - anybody there?

I'm back from exploring the shopping mall - it's huge! A lot of designer shops, but also lots of "everyday" ones, too. I bought a litre of Merlot, for the princely sum of around 1 pound and 50p - last of the big spenders, eh? :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

Hya Merls :-D :-D ;-) ;-)
The places we've been is low risk for malaria, especially at time of year, so no tablets!
I have been taking plenty quinine in the form of G&T ;-) ;-) :-D :-D

It's only a little cold - I usually get one when I go away.

Right, I've had enough of lurking in my room, I'mm off to explore the big shopping mall which ajoins the hotel! Laters......... :-D :-D ;-) ;-)

Merlin

Merlin Report 7 Apr 2014 14:44

GinS. If you think Malaria, Try and get hold of some "Quinine" Tastes B awful but does the job. But surely you took a course of tablets before and during your trip. If not, Naughty Girl. ;-) <3

GinN

GinN Report 7 Apr 2014 14:26

It shouldn't be too bad, Fly, as I've got my outfit sorted - if I can still get into it, that is, as the food in South Africa is cheap and delicious!
I might need extra time to get rid of my eye bags after the long overnight flight, though :-0 :-D ;-)
