Morning:)

Lost 1/2 lb......better than nought l say :-) :-)

Just received in the post a SW 2013/14 Starter pack, l bought it from e--y. It has all the info l need :-) :-)

K....Dorcas & Rye....love the names. They sound lovely :-) :-)
One of the cashiers at supermarket in town has chickens, she has often told me about the noisy cockerel and the upset neighbours :-|

Yes - That is Dorcas and Rye. We also have two commercial breed hens and one cross bred. They follow me everywhere and have an armed truce with our cat.

I bought myself a low cal spray and have used it when poaching eggs. I very rarely drink so that is good. My downfall is chocolate :-( however I find giving it up easier than just reducing it :-)

K....yeh good on you:)

l love spuds and eggs and B-beans, also salad. Any meat is ok too as long as there is no fat on it and only use Fry Spray....my fall down is the glass of vino...:((

Keep us updated on how you get on :-)
Are these some of your hens in your avatar?? would love a few too but not allowed where we live now :-| :-(

I must admit Jude you have inspired me to also have a go with the same diet. I find it heartening that I can actually have an extra piece of potato and it doesn't matter.

We have our own hens so that is useful :-)

Morning...still the same as yesterday, but thats ok.
Steak and salad this evening :-) :-)

Pat...size 10 wow, well done you, l don't want to get to that anymore, but a 12/14 would be great :-) :-)

On the subject of watching others eat yummies etc....l'm sort of ok with it but vic will bring in doughnuts/cakes sometimes and that is tempting and blinky annoying, wish he would'nt do it!!!!

You do eat well, love omelettes, might do one later or tomorrow.

Great Jude.

No it doesn't bother me what people eat and I never was a great drinker. I was always the nominated driver. Used to go mad and have a shandy when I got home, so no alcohol when out is normal for me.

Never been a big snacker of chocolate or crisps etc. and cakes and pudds were special occasions only.

This is why it was so frustrating with the weight I slowly put on over the years.

Was out to a Thai New Year do on Sunday wished the chicken I ate had been spiced a little as I ate a chicken salad. Last night out for meal and saw a Rod Stewart tribute who put on a really good show, ate some lovely lamb and pork with guess what - salad. Luckily I really like salad and it tastes great here.

Am out tonight for a meal with friends think it'll be a grilled fish and it's curry and quiz night Wednesday.

Thursday I'm catering here so I think I'll have an omelette, usually tomatoes and mushrooms with a small amount of grated cheese (strong mature cheddar).

Did the washing this morning - loved putting out the size 10 clothes. :-D

Keep going Jude once you start needing smaller clothes you'll feel you're getting somewhere. :-) <3

~`*`Jude`*`~ Report 24 Apr 2014 09:46

Morning:)

Since the 14th April l have lost 5 lbs not as much as l had hoped not sure what l am doing wrong at the moment but will keep going, saying that there are possibly a couple of things l should'nt have had....eg Muller greek fat free yogs with and peach, ordinary mayonaise (one dollop), gravy made with cornflour, bisto and oxo.
l have 39g of porridge but it still leaves me with abit of a bloated stomach for a short time, l make it with water but add abit of milk to cool it and g/syrup (l know ...yeh g/syrup will have to go :-| )
No wine for ages, but l know l can have some as syns, so will do so at the weekend when family arrive:) without any other syns!!

Pat...sounds like you had a good BBQ :-)....it must be difficult for you though sometimes, does it bother you watching others eat things you can't have, or are you used to it now??

Have a good everyone:)

Have been out last 2 days, both days for BBQs. Ate the BBQ meat, mainly chicken but did have a small portion of lamb on Sunday and a bit of pork yesterday. Ate salad both times, can't have dressing on salad. Didn't eat any sausages as there could be cereal in them, couldn't eat the potatoes so piled up the salad.

I am not allowed alcohol as it alters sleep patterns so I drank Zero Coke and water.

No pudds they had too much carbs, had an apple for afters yesterday. Don't know what I'm doing this evening yet, may go out but I may be catering here, will let you know.

Jude I'm sure chocolate on the odd occasion is ok, it's a reward for being so good. It does look like the wine is what makes you put on weight more than the chocolate doesn't it?

Hope everyone is doing ok.
