Morning All.

Is anyone having problems with IE as on my lappy it is telling me that IE is not working.

It's a blasted nuisance as I am using Firefox and I ain't keen on Firefox.

By the way have had this lappy for about 4 months and it ain't that thats the problem..

I have been having problems for a while with little messages coming up saying 'Internet Explorer is not responding' ect ect

Plus my screen freezes and blacks out a few times a day.....not sure if its the laptop or IE on these occasions

I prefer Firefox but have just tried IE and it seems fine.

Have you done a windows update recently? That should update IE at the same time.

Thanks all who have answered.
Just tried updates on Windows and even that seems to be having problems...

So will stick with Firefox for now.

I don't believe it as IE has just started working again..

If I knew where the tools were on Firefox I maybe would change to Firefox.

If you have problems with IE it is a problem with your machine in all likelihood - other people would not necessarily have the same problem because it is a programme that sits on your machine.
It is difficult to say what the problem is without further information.

Stella, There is a known issue with Firefox 29 crashing I found it was whenever I used the Norton safesearch page report. It has now stopped and I see my computer has updated to 30.0

Go to Firefox help, about Firefox and it will auto update.
