OneFootInTheGrave Report 7 Oct 2014 10:08

Just when you thought the number of Payment Protection Insurance adverts and phone calls were reducing, there is another money making rip-off heading our way.

It is aimed a helping you release your pension savings, following the recent changes to private pensions announced by the Chancellor of of the Exchequer George Osborne, no doubt we can look forward to a plethora of adverts and telephone calls to persuade us to part with our hard earned savings.

If past schemes, that alleged to help people with things like claiming back Payment Protection Insurance etc, are anything to go by, there will be the usual fraudsters and rip-off merchants doing the rounds, already it has been reported that 1 in 8 employees aged 50 or over has been the target of fraudsters promising to release their pension savings.

Be on your guard - always do your own research and if not sure about what you should do, seek advice from an independent financial adviser, in the long run it could save you a lot of money and grief.

If something appears to be to good to be true that should ring alarm bells ;-)
